To safely perform medication administration practices listed in 8VAC20-780-510, whenever the center has agreed to administer prescribed medications, there shall be staff person present with Medication Administration Training (MAT).
The center had prescription emergency medications for children enrolled, however there were no staff who had a current MAT certification.

Each staff person shall have written to demonstrate that the individual possesses the education, certification, and experience required by the job position. Staff # 1 did not have documentation of having the written requirements for her job as a program leader.
Plan of Correction: The previous director recently left. The current director is working to find all the required records. The staff is qualified and has requested a copy of her transcript to maintain in the file.
