Violations

1
Standard 8VAC20-780-510-L
Based on observation and interview it was determined that medication was not kept in a locked place.
Evidence:
Epinephrine was stored in an unlocked book bag on the playground for Child A.
Plan of Correction: The medication is always locked except when carried onto the playground. The medication is monitored closely to prevent access by anyone other than the staff.

We will obtain a portable container that locks when the medication is on the playground.
