Inspector Notes

An unannounced review of staff records was initiated and completed on October 1, 2024 at the Wheeler Ave location. The review began at 11:00 am and ended at 2:45pm. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas listed above. The inspector reviewed 2 staff records on-site. This inspection included document review, and interviews. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law, and violations are documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Orientation training shall be appropriate to the age of the children in care and include all of the following facility specific topics: the center's playground safety procedures; confidential treatment of personal information about children in care and their families the center's policies and procedures on the administration of medication; emergency preparedness and response planning for emergencies; prevention of sudden infant death syndrome and use of safe sleep practices; prevention of shaken baby syndrome and abusive head trauma, including procedures to cope with crying babies or distraught children; prevention of and response to emergencies due to food and other allergic reactions and prevention and control of disease.
