Inspector Notes

This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, including telephone contacts, documents review, interviews and a virtual tour of the program.

A monitoring inspection was conducted on March 30, 2022. There were 11 children present, ranging in age from 4 years to 5 years and in the care of w staff members. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staff qualifications, staffing and supervision, programming, special services, special care provisions and emergencies. A total of 2 children's records and 2 staff records were reviewed.

Information gathered during the inspection determined a non-compliance with applicable standards or law and the violation was documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Based on record review and confirmation with the director, the center failed to complete a practice evacuation drill for one month.

Evidence:
1. The evacuation drill record did not show there was a practice drill conducted during the month of January 2022.
2. The director confirmed that they had not completed a drill in January.
Plan of Correction: In the future, the director will ensure that a evacuation drill is conducted every month in both classes.
