Inspector Notes

Today an unannounced Monitoring Inspection took place between the hours of 12:30pm and 2:20pm. There were 2 classrooms observed with a total of 21 children with 4 staff within the supervision guidelines. The children were observed finishing lunch and transitioning to naptime, participating an in extra curricular dance class and going home with their parents. A complete inspection of the physical plant, children records, medications and authorizations, and emergency procedures were observed during this inspection. Positive interactions were observed. There is an ample amount of supplies available to the children. Violations were found during today?s inspection and can be viewed on the Violation Notice.

Based on observation, requirements were not met when food was brought from home.
Evidence: Five lunch boxes were observed in the daycare classroom without first and last names to identify their owner.
Plan of Correction: Parents were notified immediately to make sure names were placed on children?s lunchboxes daily. Staff will check daily at drop off to make sure lunchboxes are clearly labeled.
