Inspector Notes

An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted on 8/17/2023 from 10:35 am to 12:40 pm. There were 41 children in care, ages 13 months to five years, in four groups under the care of eight staff. The Licensing Inspector reviewed three children?s records, three staff records, and other program records. The children were observed on the playground and in quiet activities.

The inspection findings were amended as a result of a first step desk review completed on August 22, 2023.

Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Based on document review, the center failed to maintain a written record of daily attendance that documents the arrival and departure of each child in care as it occurs.

EVIDENCE:
The toddler classroom had ten children and the attendance sheet showed that no children were in care.
