8VAC20-790 Subsidy Program Vendor Requirements for Family Day Homes

Inspector Notes

A Subsidy Health and Safety monitoring inspection was conducted on February 29, 2024 to review supplemental health and safety requirements. This inspection began at 9:10am and ended at 10:41am. There were 3 caregivers with 12 children in 2 rooms at the time of the Children were observed painting, toileting, handwashing, playing outside, and other organized activities. Children's files, emergency preparedness procedures, fire drill log were reviewed. The physical plant and playground were inspected. There were no medications on site. A licensing inspection was also conducted on this date; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. No violations were found during the supplemental subsidy health and safety inspection requirements.
