During the inspection, the inspector reviewed the areas listed above to include standards found out of compliance during the previous inspection. Unless otherwise noted as a violation within this inspection report, the provider was in compliance with the standards reviewed. Inspector Notes

An unannounced, on-site monitoring inspection was initiated and completed on 3/7/2025. The on-site inspection began at 9:45am and ended at 10:55am. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas listed above. There were 15 children present and two staff. The inspector reviewed five children?s records and five staff records on-site. This inspection included document review, tour of the facility, interviews, and observations. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law, and violations are documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Standard 8VAC20-780-500-A
Children's hands shall be washed with soap and running water or disposable wipes before and after eating meals or snacks. Children were given hand sanitizer for their hands before eating snack instead of washing their hands with soap and running water or disposable wipes.
Plan of Correction: The center will ensure the children's hands are washed properly before eating going forward.
Standard 8VAC20-780-60-A
Each center shall maintain and keep at the center a separate record for each child enrolled that contains all of the required information. The record for Child #4, enrolled for six months, was missing Name, address, and phone number of a second designated person to call in an emergency if a parent cannot be reached.
Plan of Correction: The center will obtain a second emergency contact for the child.
