Inspector Notes

An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted from 11:00am - 12:40 pm with staff. There were nine children, ranging from three years to four years of age, present with two staff and a parent volunteer supervising. Children were observed making (pretend) pancakes and playing with age-appropriate toys in a variety of centers, washing hands, eating snack and participating in circle time activities. Snack served today: pancakes with strawberries and milk. Reviewed four child records, one staff record, one volunteer record and five applicant/agent records along with the daily attendance record, emergency drill log, written list of food allergies, sensitivities and dietary restrictions, the first aid kit, emergency supplies and the required posted information.
