Inspector Notes
A unannounced mandated monitoring inspection was initiated on November 14, 2023 from 12:20pm - 3:54 pm. There were 85 children with 17 staff present. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. A total of nine children records and seven staff records were reviewed. The children were observed transition into nap time , napping and infant exploring the classroom. The outside area was inspected.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.
Violations
4Evidence:
Staff #4 hire date 09/18/2023 the TB results were recieved 09/19/2023.
Staff #7 hire date 10/2/2023 the TB results were recieved 10/03/2023 .
Which the date of results were recieved were after the date of
employment.
Evidence:
In the infant 1 and infant 2 classrooms, there was bucket of sanitizer and soap water on the counter top in both classrooms. The containers were with hazordous substances and were not kept in locked place.
Evidence:
On the infant and toddler playground, the resilent surfacing under the playground composite was a metal plate. Confirmed with the staff. Picture were provided to the center.
Evidence: In the two year old classroom, there were multiple cots that were not spaced 12 inches apart. Confirmed with staff .
