Inspector Notes

A subsidy health and safety (SHSI) inspection was conducted on 11/01/2023. There were 26 children present with 3 staff supervising. A licensing inspection was also conducted on this date. Both inspections combined cover subsidy health and safety regulations. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards were reviewed during this supplemental inspection.

Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program. Based on record review, three staff members did not hold a current certification in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), appropriate to the ages of children in care.
Evidence:
1) The CPR certifications documented in the staff's records were dated as follows: For Staff #1 and Staff #4, 10/28/2021-2023; for Staff #3, 09/14/2021-2023.
Plan of Correction: Staff #1 is currently on a wait list for CPR . Staff #3 is scheduled to take CPR on 11/08/2023. Staff #4 is scheduled to take CPR on 11/29/2023.

Evidence:
1) The first aid certification documented in the record for Staff #3 was dated 09/08/2021-2023.
Plan of Correction: Staff #1 is scheduled to take first aid on 11/08/2023.
