Inspector Notes

This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, including telephone contacts, documents review, interviews (if applicable) and a virtual tour of the program (if applicable).

A subsidy health and safety (SHSI) inspection was conducted on October 5, 2021. There were 28 children present with 5 staff supervising. A licensing inspection was also conducted on this date. Both inspections combined cover subsidy health and safety regulations. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards were reviewed during this supplemental inspection.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Based on review of five staff records, one does not contain the required documentation of a current certification in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR).
Evidence:
The record for staff #1 contains an expired certificate in CPR. Current certificate expired in June 2021.
Plan of Correction: Staff will take a CPR class on October 13, 2021. Records will be reviewed regularly to monitor for upcoming expirations.
