Inspector Notes

A monitoring inspection was conducted on 10/03/2023 between the hours of approximately 8:10 am and 9:00 am. There were 18 children present, with 2 staff supervising. Children were observed while playing board games, coloring and talking among themselves.
The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. A total of 2 child records and 2 staff records were reviewed.

Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program. Based on medication review, the medication authorization was not available to staff.
Evidence:
1) On the date of inspection, an emergency medication for Child #3 was available in the center. An authorization form for this medication was not available for review.
Plan of Correction: Asked parent to supply proper paperwork. Parent provided a new authorization form on 10/04/2023.
