Inspector Notes

An unannounced Monitoring Inspection took place on 09/28/2022 between the hours of approximately 8:30 a.m. and 9:10 a.m. There was 1 classroom observed with a total of 20 children with 2 staff within the supervision guidelines. The children were observed playing with blocks, using tablets and other organized activities. Positive interaction between staff and children were observed. A complete inspection of the physical plant, children and staff records, fire drill log, medication and emergency procedures were observed during this inspection. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program. Based on observation, hazardous substances were not kept in a locked place.

Evidence:
1. There was one disinfectant spray and one multi-purpose cleaner in an unlocked metal cabinet.
2. There were two disinfectant sprays, one bathroom cleaners, two containers of disinfectant wipes and one container of bleach in an unlocked closet.
Plan of Correction: We will lock them.
