Inspector Notes

A Subsidy Health and Safety Monitoring Inspection took place on 07/13/2023 between the hours of approximately 11:20 a.m. and 12:15 p.m. to review supplemental health and safety requirements. There were 2 groups observed with a total of 52 children with 14 staff within the supervision guidelines. At the time of inspection, the site was operating as a summer camp. The site has three cabins, Athletes' Cabin, Performers' Cabin and Artists' Cabin. The children assigned to the Athletes and Performers' Cabins were observed eating lunch. Children in the Artists' Cabin were observed preparing to go on a field trip to see a play. Positive interactions between staff and children were observed. A complete inspection of the physical plant, children and staff records, medication and injury reports was conducted during this inspection. There were 3 medications on site at this time. A licensing inspection was also conducted on this date; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection.
