Inspector Notes

Conducted an unannounced monitoring inspection at 1:25pm. Observed 35 children + 6 direct-care staff. Ratios and supervision were in compliance. Children were observed in a variety of activities to include: playing card and table games, drawing, playing with blocks, and having outdoor active play. Children had participated in a cooking activity prior to the inspection. Staff were actively engaged with the children + activities. The classrooms were found to be clean and well supplied with equipment for the children. An area of non-compliance with standards and laws reviewed was found. Based on records reviewed, it was determined that 2 of 6 on-site staff records did not include required information. Evidence: The records for Staff #4 and Staff #6 did not include the name, address, and phone number of a person to be notified in an emergency situation.
Plan of Correction: Staff stated that they believed the information had been sent to the work site. This information will be located, sent to the work site, or completed promptly.
