Inspector Notes

A monitoring inspection was conducted today between 10:45am to 11:45am. There were 24 children present, with 4 staff supervising. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. The children were observed napping. A total of 4 child records and 4 staff records were reviewed. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program. Based on observation, when food was brought from home, the food container was not clearly dated and labeled in a way that identifies the owner.
Evidence
Four lunch boxes that were brought from home were not clearly dated and labeled in a way that identifies the owner. Corrected during the inspection.
Plan of Correction: We will make sure when food is brought from home it is clearly labeled with child's name and date. All lunch boxes were labeled during the inspection.
