Inspector Notes

An unannounced Monitoring Inspection took place on 05/24/2023 between the hours of approximately 8:00 a.m. and 8:30 a.m. There was 1 classroom observed with a total of 21 children with 2 staff within the supervision guidelines. The children were observed preparing for dismissal and other organized activities. Positive interaction between staff and children were observed. A complete inspection of the physical plant, children and staff records, fire drill log, and emergency procedures was conducted during this inspection. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program. Based on record review, the center did not obtain all information for children's records.

Evidence: Child #3's record indicates an allergy to dairy and shellfish. The record for Child #3 did not include a written allergy care plan.
Plan of Correction: Staff will ask parent to remove allergen, as 1 (milk) is an actual preference not a known allergen and 2 (shellfish) is NOT ever served in our program.
