Inspector Notes

A monitoring inspection was conducted on 09/26/2022. There were a total of 10 children with 3 staff members present. Children were observed playing with legos, doing art projects, and playing cards. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. A total of 3 child records and 2 staff records were reviewed. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program. Based on observation, hazardous substances such as cleaning materials, were not kept in a locked place using a safe locking method.
Evidence:
Lysol, cleancide wipes, and microban was in an unlocked cabinet above the sink in the room to the left of the entrance. Odoban disinfectant, pineglo, and cleaner were in an unlocked cabinet below the sink on the same side of the room as the above cleaners.
Plan of Correction: We have a work order in to get the another key for the locks for those cabinets.
