Inspector Notes

An unannounced, on-site monitoring inspection was initiated on 09/25/2024 and completed on 09/25/2024. The inspection began at 3 pm and ended at 4:40 pm. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas listed above. There were (37) children present and (4) staff. The inspector reviewed (5) children?s records and documentation for (4) staff kept on-site on 09/25/2024

This inspection included: document review (policies and procedures, emergency drill logs, medication administration logs, authorization forms); tour of the facility; and interviews.

Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with an applicable standard and was documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

The center may administer prescription medication that would normally be administered by a parent or guardian to a child provided: The center administers only those drugs that were dispensed from a pharmacy and maintained in the original, labeled container.

Medication stored on site to be administered to Child #6 on an as needed basis was not maintained in its original container.
Plan of Correction: Will talk to parent about getting original container for this medication.
