Inspector Notes

An in-person renewal inspection was conducted today after school. There were 23 children with 3 staff present. 4 staff records were reviewed for specific items only, as the full record is reviewed at the main office at another time. See the Violation Notice for missing items. 3 children's records were reviewed. All were complete. Children were observed at arrival and attendance, washing hands, eating snack, transitioning to the gym and enjoying individual choice activities. First aid and emergency supplies, emergency drills, medications, menu and attendance were all in compliance. Based on a review of records, a child with an emergency medication on site is not always in the care of a staff member or independent contractor who meets the requirements for administering medication.
Evidence:
There is no staff member present at the center that has current certification in Medication Administration Training (MAT). There is one Epi-Pen medication at the center.
