Inspector Notes
This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, necessary due to a state of emergency health pandemic declared by the Governor of Virginia.
A renewal inspection was initiated on 05/13/2021 and concluded on 05/18/2021. The Center Supervisor was contacted by phone to initiate the inspection. There were ten children with seven staff which is within ratio for supervision. Learning pods are established with center supervisors in the hall and teachers in the classrooms. Reviewed a sample of children records, trainings and emergency preparation (drills, first aid supplies and FA/CPR certification. Two medications were reported to be on-site the day of the inspection. Several staff have current Medication Administration Training certification. SACC provides a morning snack, lunch, pm snack and the option to take home a cold dinner. Background checks and educational requirements are kept at a central location and checked annually. The information gathered during the inspection determined no violations with applicable standards or law. No violations were issued
