Inspector Notes
A subsidy health and safety inspection (SHSI) was conducted in conjunction with the licensing inspection. Subsidy standards that are not covered in licensing standards were reviewed during this SHSI. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law, and violations are documented on the violation notice issued to the program.
Standard 8VAC20-790-600-D-1
All staff who work directly with children shall have within 90 days of the date of employment, current certification in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR). Staff #2 has been employed for more than 90 days and was working directly with children during the inspection. The record for Staff #2 did not contain documentation of CPR certification.
Plan of Correction: Center Supervisor will reach out to management to ensure the certification is completed.
