Inspector Notes

A renewal inspection was conducted on 9/1/2023. There were 33 children directly supervised by 3 staff members. Children were observed arriving to the all day program, cards, coloring and legos. The physical plant, 4 child records, 5 staff records, medications, evacuation drills, and emergency supplies were inspected. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program. Based on a review of children medications, the center has not obtained the prescription label in accordance with the prescriber's instructions pertaining to dosage, frequency, and manner of administration for one child's emergency medication.
Evidence: Child #3 has a nose spray medication for emergencies, the medication does not have a prescription label in accordance with the prescriber's instructions pertaining to dosage, frequency, and manner of administration.
Plan of Correction: The parent was contacted during this inspection and was asked to provide the prescription label for the medication.
