Inspector Notes

A renewal inspection was initiated on 11/18/2022 at 7:35am and concluded on 11/18/2022 at 8:30am. There were a total of 19 children with 4 staff members present. Children were observed during engaged in group activities including drawing and Lego play. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. A total of 7 child records and 5 staff records were reviewed. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program. Based on review of children's medication, the center was not able to follow the written care plan for each child with a diagnosed food allergy.

Evidence: Benadryl was not available for Child #1's written care plan for their food allergy.
Plan of Correction: Center will request Benadryl from parents and store with other emergency medication.
