Inspector Notes

A monitoring inspection was initiated on 1/2/2024 at approximately 8:10am and concluded on 1/2/2024 at approximately 9:10am. There were a total of 8 children with 3 staff members present. Children were observed coloring, playing card games, toy play, and engaged in group activities. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. A total of 8 child records and 3 staff records were reviewed. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program. Based on review of children's records, the center was not able to follow the written care plan for each child with a diagnosed food allergy.

Evidence: The written care plan for Child #3 required administration of liquid allergy medicine that was not available at the center.
Plan of Correction: Center will obtain the needed liquid allergy medicine for Child #3.
