Inspector Notes

An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted on 9/26/2022 from 10:30 am-11:47 am. There were 31 children supervised by 3 direct care staff. The physical plant, 3 staff records, 5 children?s records, evacuation drills, emergency supplies, and policies were inspected. Children were observed participating in group play, playing outside, and eating lunch. Areas of non-compliance are identified in the Violation Notice. Based on observation, hazardous substances such as cleaning materials were not kept in a locked place using a safe locking method that prevents access by children.

1. Disinfectant spray, tanning lotion, and hairspray were located on a shelf in an unlocked cabinet.

Based on record review and interview, the center failed to obtain the required information regarding emergency contacts for one child.
