Inspector Notes

This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, including telephone contacts, documents review and interviews.

A subsidy health and safety (SHSI) inspection was conducted on 12/07/2021. There were 47 children present with 5 staff supervising. A licensing inspection was also conducted on this date. Both inspections combined cover subsidy health and safety regulations. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards were reviewed during this supplemental inspection.

Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program. Based on record review, one out of five records reviewed, staff who work directly with children did not annually attend the department's health and safety update course.
Evidence:
1) On the date of inspection, the most recent health and safety update course certificate in the record for Staff #3 and provided for review was dated 05/22/2019.
Plan of Correction: Staff 3 will complete Annual Health and Safety update immediately.
