Inspector Notes

An unannounced, on-site renewal inspection was conducted on 9/18/24. The on-site inspection began at 4:37pm and ended at 5:20pm. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas listed above. There were 23 children present and 3 staff. The inspector reviewed 3 children?s records and 3 staff records while on-site. This inspection included document review, tour of the facility and interviews. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law, and violations are documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Please complete the plan of correction (POC) and date to be corrected sections for each violation cited on the violation notice. Specify how the deficient practice will be or has been corrected. Submit your POC within five (5) business day from the date the report was sent to you, which will be close of business on 9/27/24. A POC submitted after this date will not appear on the public website.

The license and other documents required by the Superintendent shall be posted in a conspicuous place on the licensed premises.

The inspection report, dated 8/6/20-8/20/24, was not posted on the premises.
Plan of Correction: All inspection reports will be posted on the premises upon received.

Hazardous substances such as cleaning materials shall be kept in a locked place using a safe locking method that prevents access by children.

A storage closet containing multiple cleaning supplies was not locked in one of the classrooms where children were in care.
Plan of Correction: Staff will ensure allstorage closet that that contain cleaning supplies are locked at all time. [sic]
