Inspector Notes

An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today between the hours of 11:00am-12:00pm. There were a total of 22 children with three staff members present. Children were observed during handwashing, engaged in group activities, independent play and outdoor play time. A selection of staff and children records, medications and other documents were reviewed. The physical space, emergency supplies, evacuation drills, attendance records, and the Emergency Preparedness Plan were reviewed. Areas of non-compliance are identified in the violation notice. Based on observation, food brought from home was not clearly labeled and dated in a way that identifies the owner.
Evidence:
1. Water bottles and lunch boxes were not clearly labeled and dated in the school age classroom.
Plan of Correction: Lunches and water bottles will be labeled with the owner's name and date.
