Inspector Notes

An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted on 3/5/24 from 11:40 to 12:25. The center has 31 children present with 4 staff.
The Children were observed doing both teacher directed and self directed activities. Sewing, yarn punching, playing video games and eating lunch. Lots of interaction between children and staff.
7 children's records and 3 staff records were reviewed during the inspection. A violation notice was given to the center along with this inspection summary.

Based on the physical plant inspection, cleaners are not kept in a locked cabinet.
Evidence: The cabinet containing cleaners was unlocked and the key was in the lock.
Plan of Correction: We will remember to lock the cabinet and remove the key. Fixed during the inspection.

Based on the review of emergency contact information for staff the center failed to have information for one staff.
Evidence: One staff , staff 1, is missing the emergency contact paperwork.
Plan of Correction: Fixed during the inspection, we will make sure the emergency paperwork is on file when the person starts.
