During the inspection, the inspector reviewed the areas listed above to include standards found out of compliance during the previous inspection. Unless otherwise noted as a violation within this inspection report, the provider was in compliance with the standards reviewed.

Inspector Notes

An unannounced, on-site monitoring inspection was initiated on August 28, 2025 and completed on August 28, 2025, as a part of the current licensure period. The on-site inspection began at 7:30am and ended at 8:15am. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas listed above. There were 10 children present and 4 staff. The inspector reviewed 5 child files and 3 staff files on-site. This inspection included: document review, postings review, tour of the facility and playgrounds, interviews, and observations.

Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law, and violations are documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Please complete the plan of correction (POC) and date to be corrected sections for each violation cited on the violation notice. Specify how the violation will be or has been corrected. Submit your POC within five (5) business days from today, which will be the close of business on September 4.
A POC submitted after this date will not appear on the public website.

Hazardous substances must be in a locked place that prevents access by children.

In the second classroom, the cabinet storing cleaning materials was unlocked and within reach of the children.
Plan of Correction: Cabinet locked while inspector present.
Standard 8VAC20-780-530-A-1
Current certification in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) training shall include an in-person competency demonstration.

Staff 2 had CPR training on file that did not include and in-person competency training.
Plan of Correction: Will schedule for in-person training.
