Inspector Notes
An unannounced renewal study was conducted during the after school program. Four staff were on-site with twenty six children in care which is within ratios for supervision. Observed transition from afternoon snack in the cafeteria (golden grahams cereal and juice), attendance, a group game in the gym and free play in the SACC classroom. Curriculum this year will focus on "Walk into the Wild". No medication was reported to be on-site today. Reviewed a sample of children's records, staff training, emergency preparation and physical space. Staff personnel files are maintained at a central location with Fairfax County. The information gathered during the inspection determined no violations with applicable standards or law. No violations were issued. Feel free to contact me if you need any assistance.
