Inspector Notes
An unannounced monitoring visit was conducted during the transition to the SACC afterschool program. Observed hand washing, transition to snack (apple juice and muffin), transition to outside, room activities as well as arrival of several children from another school. Two rooms are dedicated to the program. The theme is "Turn the Page". Reviewed a sample of children's records, medication authorization and storage for 3 medications, trainings for staff, physical space and emergency preparation. Staff records are kept at a central location and reviewed two times a year at Office For Children's SACC administrative headquarters. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program. Feel free to contact me if you need any assistance.
