While children are participating in swimming, at no time shall there be fewer than two staff members supervising the activity. Eleven school-age children were observed in the pool with 1 staff person (Staff A).
Plan of Correction: The director thought as long as ratio was maintained that a second staff was not needed. This will be corrected and 2 staff will be present at all times when children are participating in swimming.

Whenever children are in care the center is to have a first aid kit that includes all required items. The center's first aid kit did not include antiseptic.
Plan of Correction: Antiseptic will be added to the center's first aid kit. The director will periodically check the kit to ensure all required items are present.

Whenever children are in care the center is to have the required medical supplies. The center did not have a cold pack.
