Inspector Notes

An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted on 2/21/2023. The center had 44 children present with 18 staff in 5 groupings.
Lots of activities going on, playing with blocks, building with magnets, playing on the playground, working on letters and numbers and having music and dance.
Lots of interaction between staff and children in all the groupings.Discussed using the latest paperwork on the departments website when doing background checks. A violation notice was given to the center at the same time as the summary. Evidence: Based on the review of lunch boxes brought from home, two out of 6 lunch boxes brought from home were not labeled with today's date.
Plan of Correction: We have sent out reminders to parents to label lunches and we will remind them again.
