Inspector Notes

An unannounced, on-site monitoring inspection was initiated on 9/19//24 and completed on the same date, as a part of licensure period. The on-site inspection began at 9:50 and ended at 11:40. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas listed above. CDC: There were 54 children present and 13 staff. The inspector reviewed 9 children?s records and 2 staff records on site. This inspection included, document review, tour of the facility, interviews and observations.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law, and violations are documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Standard 8VAC20-780-510-I
Medication administered by the center must be in the original box with the name of the child, dosage and name of medication.
2 medications for child 3 is not in the original box.
Plan of Correction: We will request that the parents bring in the original box for the medication.
Standard 8VAC20-780-60-A-8
A written care plan for each child with a food allergy shall be in the child's file.
2 children with food allergies are missing the allergy action plan. Child 1 and child 2.
Plan of Correction: We will request the allergy action plan from the parent.
