Inspector Notes

This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, necessary due to a state of emergency health pandemic declared by the Governor of Virginia.
A code compliance inspection was initiated on 4/7/2021 and concluded on 4/7/2021. The director was contacted by telephone to initiate the inspection. There were no children and no staff present. The inspector emailed the director a list of items required to complete the inspection. The Inspector reviewed 1 staff record submitted by the facility to ensure documentation was complete.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable code sections and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the facility.

Based on record review, the center did not obtain Virginia child abuse and neglect results for a staff member by the end of the 30th day of employment.

Evidence:
1. Staff #1,(Date of hire 02/26/2018), did not have documentation of central registry results available for review.
Plan of Correction: Central Registry background check was resubmitted for said staff member on 4/9/2021. We will provide results to VDSS upon receipt.
