Inspector Notes
An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted on 06/05/2024. Two inspectors were on site from approximately 9:50am until 2:15pm. There were 92 children present with 15 staff supervising. There was a total of eight classrooms visited, ranging in ages from infants to school age. Children were observed in variety of activities including art activities, playing with building blocks, playing outside, coloring singing songs. Inspectors interacted with staff and children in care.
The inspectors reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. A total of nine child records and nine staff records were reviewed.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program. If you have any questions, please reach out to the licensing inspector

Violations
2Evidence:
1. In classroom 4?s bathroom, a tile floor was observed missing in the corner, exposing the sub floor of the bathroom.
2. In classroom 4?s bathroom, the pinch stopper on the door frame that stops from kids smashing fingers in the door was broken and cracked that could entangle clothing or snag skin.
3. Outside on the playground?s fence, a piece of the fence?s board was loose, exposing a sharp edge of a metal box. A protruding nail was observed in the same area that could entangle clothing or snag skin. Children were observed playing in the area.
4. Leadership acknowledged the building maintenance areas and equipment that needed repair.
Evidence:
1. In the restroom in classroom 4, a spray bottle of bathroom cleaner was observed on a shelf not locked up.
2. The director acknowledged that the bathroom was used by the children.
