Inspector Notes

An unannounced VA 22.1-289.031 Code Compliance inspection was conducted from 11:30 am - 12:30 pm. There were 18 children in care being supervised by 2 staff. The children were observed participating in a group singing activity. A total of three child records and two staff records were reviewed.

Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program. Based on observation and interview it was determined that the required aspects of the child day center's operations were not provided in a written statement to the parent and made available to the general public. Evidence: The required written statement in regards to the center's physical facilities, enrollment capacity, food services, health requirements for the staff, and public liability insurance was not provided to parents/guardians or made available to the general public.
Plan of Correction: Administration will post the required information in a conspicuous place to the general public and provide the required information to parents/guardians.
