Inspector Notes

An unannounced, on-site monitoring inspection was initiated on 1/08/2025 and completed on 1/08/2025. The on-site inspection began at 10:20 am and ended at 1:00 pm. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas listed above. There were 56 children present and18 staff. The inspector reviewed six children?s records and four staff records on-site. This inspection included: document review, tour of the facility, interviews, and observations. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law, and violations are documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

The program is required to submit to VDH and implement a plan to test potable water for lead.

The program did not have evidence of a testing plan submitted to VDH. Testing has not yet been done.
Plan of Correction: The center will submit a testing plan to VDH and then implement it (get the water tested). Results will be submitted to VDH.
