Inspector Notes

An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted at 11:10am. Observed 7 children totaling 18 points with 2 caregivers. Ratios and supervision were in compliance. Children were playing with toys, washing hands, and eating lunch during the inspection. Lunch served included pasta, tomato sauce, carrots, peas, grapes and milk. The caregivers were actively engaged with the children and promptly tending to their needs. The daycare areas of the home were found to be clean and well supplied with toys and equipment for the children. An area of non-compliance with standards and laws reviewed was found. Based on records reviewed, the licensee failed to ensure that a caregiver completed a required background check every 5 years. Evidence: The criminal record check for Caregiver #2 is dated as completed 6/7/18.
Plan of Correction: Will talk to caregiver #2 + will get the background check as soon as I can.
