Inspector Notes
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted on 2/27/24 from 9:55am to 11:00am with the provider who was present with one assistant. There were two children in care, ranging in age from six-months to two-years-old, for a total of six points. Children were observed having free play and tummy time, reading a book, and drinking a smoothie for a snack. Three child records, the provider record, two assistant records, one household member record, and one pet record were reviewed. The provider and both assistants have current certification in CPR and First Aid. The provider reported that there were no children?s medications on-site, but the provider has current certification in Medication Administration Training (MAT). The emergency drill log, attendance, and menu were also reviewed. If you have questions regarding this inspection, please contact the Licensing Inspector, Laura Brindle, at laura.brindle@doe.virginia.gov or 540-905-2062.
