Inspector Notes

This inspection was conducted on site by licensing staff using a hybrid protocol, including telephone contacts, documents review, interviews a tour of the program.

A renewal inspection was initiated on March 10, 2022 and concluded on March 10, 2022. There were 122 children present, ranging in ages from three months to five years, with 29 staff supervising. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. A total of five child records and five staff records were reviewed.

Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Based on interview, the center was not equipped with at least one carbon monoxide detector in each building that was built before 2015.

Evidence:

The director stated that a carbon monoxide detector had not yet been purchased and installed in either of the two buildings.
Plan of Correction: Per the director: We will purchase and install a carbon monoxide detector in each building.
