Inspector Notes

An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted on 04/12/2022. There were 7 children, ages 2 years- 6 years, totaling 11 points, with one care giver supervising present during the inspection. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, personnel, environment and equipment, care of children, preventing the spread of disease, emergencies and nutrition. A total of 5 children?s records and one caregiver record were reviewed. The inspector discussed the following: medication administration and nutrition.

Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the provider.

Based on observation and discussion, the provider failed to ensure that programs that serve preschool-age children shall be equipped with at least one carbon monoxide detector.

Evidence: The program was not equipped with a carbon monoxide detector. The children in care were preschool-age children.
Plan of Correction: Will contact the fire department or will purchase one.
