Inspector Notes

An in-person monitoring inspection was conducted on June 23, 2023 from 9:30am until 10:20am. There were 61 children present with 14 staff supervising. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. Children were observed coloring, doing art projects, learning about letters, building with blocks and Legos. A total of 5 child records and 5 staff records were reviewed.

Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Based on record review, each staff member's tuberculosis screening documentation was not completed within the last 30 calendar days of the date of employment.

Evidence: Staff 2 has a tuberculosis screening dated 11/4/22 (DOH 5/1/23).
Plan of Correction: We will ensure all tuberculosis screenings are within 30 days of hire.
