Inspector Notes
An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted today, April 6, 2023, to determine the centers compliance with licensing standards. The licensing inspector was on site from approximately 10:30 am until 12:30 pm. The Director assisted with the inspection. There were 66 children present, ranging in ages from nine months to ten years, with 13 staff supervising. The inspector reviewed compliance in the
areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, transportation, special care and emergencies and nutrition. Children were observed in a variety of activities including coloring Easter pictures, center play (blocks, animals, legos, math games, and puzzles) reading books, and outdoor play. Circle time in the toddler room was also observed. Children reviewed the weather and colors using sign language. Staff interacted with children in a positive manner. A total of five child records and five staff records were reviewed. The inspector interacted with staff and children in care.
