Inspector Notes

The licensing inspector conducted an unannounced inspection in response to a complaint received on 04/13/2023 regarding forbidden actions. The inspection was completed on 04/25/2023. The inspector was on site from approximately 10:00 a.m. to 11:20 a.m. Observations were made in the classrooms and playground and interviews with staff were completed.
The preponderance of the evidence gathered during the investigation did not support the allegation. The complaint is determined to be not valid; however, violations of standards were determined. See the violation notice for details.

Based on observation, the provider failed to ensure that children?s hands shall be washed with soap and running water or disposable wipes before and after meals or snacks.

Evidence:
Licensing inspector observed children in the Toddler?s classroom move from activity time to eating their morning snack without washing their hands.

Based on observation, the provider failed to ensure the diapering surface was adequately sanitized at least two minutes with bleach water.

Evidence: Licensing inspector observed center staff after diapering a child spray the cleaner and the sanitizing solutions at the same time and immediately wipe the solutions from the surface not allowing time for the surface to sanitize.

Based on observation, the provider failed to ensure that tables used for feeding children were sanitized after each use.

Evidence:
Licensing inspector observed staff in the Toddler?s classroom cleaning the tables after the children?s snack; however, not sanitizing afterwards.
