A complaint inspection was completed on 09/07/2023. A complaint was received by the department regarding allegations in the areas of: food storage; storage of hazardous substances; ratio; building maintenance; and toileting procedures.
Observations and staff interviews were conducted during the inspection. The evidence gathered during the investigation supported the allegation of non-compliance with the standards regarding storage of hazardous substances. Based on observation, the provider failed to ensure hazardous substances such as cleaning materials in a locked place preventing access by children.
