Inspector Notes

An unannounced inspection was initiated on 7/18/24 and completed on 7/18/24 in response to a complaint received by the licensing office on 7/15/24 relating to allegations of supervision and capacity. This inspection included interviews and observations.

The preponderance of evidence gathered during the investigation supports the allegation; therefore, the complaint is determined to be valid. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and the violations are documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

***This was updated to reflect a change, due to an error on the original documentation, today 7/25/2024. This updated inspection was sent to the provider today, 7/25/24, as required.

The provider shall ensure that the total number of children receiving care at any one time does not exceed the maximum licensed capacity of the home.
On 7/18/2024 at 10:35am, there were 15 children aged 12 months-10 years in care in the family day home. The family day home is licensed for a maximum capacity of 9 children.
Plan of Correction: While the inspector was present, 3 children were sent home, leaving 12 children in care.
